Happy Babes Unbleached Prefolds (WERE $9.00-$18.00 NOW $5.50-14.50)

Description

The Happy Babes Indian cotton prefolds come in bleached, unbleached and coloured.  These prefolds are rectangular in shape and have three areas of varying thicknesses of the cotton twill.  All the prefolds have 8 layers of cotton twill in the middle of the prefold for extra absorbency.  Prefolds are a great way to start out using cloth nappies before moving on to one size nappies.  These prefolds can also be used later on as burp rags, change mats or folded up in a cloth nappy for extra absorbency.

The unbleached prefolds are made from untreated cotton and are natural in colour.  The natural colour is due to the natural oils in the prefolds not being removed from the cotton through processing.  The unbleached prefolds need to be washed 4-5 times on a hot setting prior to use.

The bleached prefolds have been processed to allow for the white colour to be bright.  The bleached prefolds need to be washed 2 times on a hot setting prior to use.

The coloured prefolds have been dyed in a fibre-reactive dye so they will not fade.  The coloured prefolds need to be washed 2 times on hot setting prior to use.  It is recommended that the initial wash of the coloured prefolds be done separately.

To fasten the prefold we recommended that you use a Snappi fastener and then fit a cover to the prefold as they are not waterproof.

Each size comes in a pack of 6 prefolds.

Product Reviews

A customer gave it 4 stars on 27/04/2010
“I have a dozen of the infant size that I've been using on my 3 week old for a couple weeks now. Very happy with them. They wash up so soft and are a good size. I use a "newspaper" fold (I think), Snappi and various covers over the top. My one issue is the tag on them--makes it a just a bit fiddley when folding them as I try to get it tucked inside a fold so it won't be scratchy. I'll probably go through and cut them off when I have time, not that big of a deal.”
